This bed is designed to assist in the long term restraint of combative or self-destructive subjects in either the medical or the correctional capacities. The heavy-duty Proforma Max restraint bed includes side bars that run the length of the restraint bed that allows for ease of adjustment of restraints. This bed fits restraints from Humane Restraint, Posey, Grip and RIPP restraints.The restraint bed has a curved top and is non-porous for easy cleaning. It is topped with a comfortable and fire-resistant foam mattress that is easily cleaned with soap and water. It is molded of fiberglass in one piece. The restraint bed can be permanently attached to the floor. Fire resistant mattress and restraint systems are sold separately.
